This Brass ring necklace is created by hand from solid brass jump rings, tripled for strength and substance. The jump rings in this open Chainmaille are carefully closed as tight as possible for strength and smoothness. This necklace is an easy wear with no clasp, simply slip it on over your head. It is definitely an eye catching piece of jewelry and will easily go from the office to a night on the town worn alone or layered. Looks great with blue jeans and a tee also. The drop from the back of the neck to the bottom of the chain in front is approximately 13", total length approximately 26"
This necklace is natural brass so it will patina with age to an antiqued brass look. It is beautiful this way, but if you want it to be bright shiny gold (actually brass), you can clean with a little brass jewelry cleaner, catsup, or Worcestershire Sauce. Massage onto chain for a few seconds, rinse well with warm water and dry with soft cloth. When not wearing, store in an airtight plastic bag to help keep it from the oxidation process.
